APARTMENT D
A new family home with a spacious open-plan living room was created in the rebuilt attic of a Berlin residential building. The big roof windows emphazise the apartment’s loft character. The space opens through two window doors on the courtyard’s side onto the balcony and a small terrace. Two in-built furniture elements along the gable walls offer a wide range of functions: working area and library, bathroom and alcove are integrated in the element on the one side, a small staircase leads to the lower floor behind the kitchen furniture on the other side.
