LOFT L
A maisonette flat in the groundfloor sidewing of a 19th century building in Berlin needs light and air above all. Therefore the apartment‘s layout is thinned out and opened up, large folding and sliding windows, an open stair construction and light gray built-in furniture are installed. Long white oiled douglas fir floorboards emphasize the new spaciousness of the spaces. By opening the cabinets bright colored storages reveal themselves as stealthy counterpoints of the light flooded flat.
