Changing the character of a room in a minimally invasive and resource-saving way with the smallest possible intervention – an old wall cupboard in the passageway to the children’s room gets new handles in the shape of a butterfly colored according to the request of the little customer.

First model for a tiny house in the Berlin area…

The start of a project is always very exciting – what a treasure!

By a few interventions, a newly acquired attic apartment gains its individual character – in the entrance, a wardrobe made of linoleum-covered panels complements the stand-alone fireplace to create a grey sculpture with a surprising color inside.

How can we renovate carefully a house by retaining its character and as much as possible of its original substance while at the same time meeting the requirements of its new residents and of today’s times? We try to do so in House P and are happy to see how the attic space has gained warmth, air and light.

First snow flakes in Berlin – the rebuilt traditional windows facing the street of house P in Tempelhof do not reveal the secret of a new annex with a great view into the garden.

The construction work in apartment H is coming to an end – now it’s time to fill the space with furniture, lighting and life!

Apartment H is finally under construction – we are working with room-in-room ideas and the existing historical arches of the doors!

After the first demolition phase the original wall colors dating from the 1920s appear in house V – what a surprise in orange, yellow and wine red!

Subtle accents by perfect built-in pieces and color splashes in a new Berlin apartment – many thanks to Lukasz Machnik and Tischlerei Wähner.

The new working level in the studio of Professor Monica Bonvicini’s sculpture class at University of the Arts Berlin will soon be completed – a movable steel platform that can be placed in front of the glass facade or in the back of the studio as required, offering a new spatial experience and more space for student work.

A touch of rose, slight adjustments and additions to the built-in furniture as well as a new bathroom – the family moves into their new home and takes the charm of apartment X with them.

An annex for a room with a view into the pagan called Bieselheide – today it is being dismantled.

The country house La Fermette in Périgord has been renovated and has been ready to welcome its guests for the first time this summer. Thanks to Mitt Morris for supervising the site and Maurice for the beautiful pictures !

When the combination of built-in-furniture, colors and architecture creates a space it get’s to the point of calling it interior architecture, ;-)!

We admit – there is a weakness for community projects! But look how our tiny house on one of the Berlin islands is growing!

Recovering the charming original pieces of a country side house in Ostprignitz-Ruppin…

Colour me yellow! Bright colour combination with livid green and a light grey in the bathroom of a berlin attic.

A new broom sweeps  clean – the year starts with the visit of our construction site in lovely Ostprignitz.

It needs just a bit of cleaning and unwrapping, then the new attic can be furnished to move in!

Nice to have this glazed tile shower up in the rooftop of Bahrfeldstraße now!
