LOFT N

We love the charm of a Berlin attic space with its width and wooden beam structure, as well as the exposed masonry walls and chimneys, so it should be retained when converting the surface into an apartment. Instead of subdividing the space we have only two colored boxes for bathrooms and built-in cupboards as well as a long, continuous bench giving structure to the space and offering with this zones for communication, relaxing and retreat. The slightly raised kitchen area transitions directly into a large terrace leading towards the side wing of the building. By clashing existing and new materials a nice and lively setting is put up for life with all the objects it brings with it.
