Airy, light and flooded with light – that is how the atmosphere in a newly built apartment in Berlin should be. The white toned walls absorb the light from the surroundings, reflect it on the lightly oiled parquet and concrete tiles and let it flow through the floor-to-ceiling doors to the interior of the apartment. Only the window frames, niches, kitchen bloc and bathroom furniture offer contrasting points with their dark stained wood and colored tiles.
The open atmosphere is emphazised by sliding doors that allow for the greatest possible opening of the rooms as well as a connection between stairs and kitchen to the corridor and bedrooms to the en-suite bathroom.
