HOLIDAY APARTMENT FTAN
A holiday apartment was built into a former barnyard of an Engadine house. The contrasting character of the thick exterior walls and the new concrete bathroom core is perceptible through the open ground plan: light flows into the interior during the day, three bedrooms can be separated by sliding doors at night. Between the bedrooms and communal areas, wall-mounted closets provide space for everything brought in your suitcase and unpacked in the apartment. The facade colors of the Engadine were used when coloring the closets, thus giving an individual character to each room.
